Making the transition to a cruelty-free, vegan beauty lifestyle can seem like a daunting task, especially when so many of the “go to” companies are not vegan, let alone cruelty free. But it can be done! Sure, it will take more commitment and research but when you think about the countless animals suffering at the cost of beauty, that should make it worth it.
Companies like Vegan Cuts make the journey to a cruelty free lifestyle easier and attainable. I am so grateful that I stumbled upon the beauty box from Vegan Cuts. It contains 4-7 beauty items that are both vegan and cruelty free. A lot of these items are even full size products! One of the many reasons I love this box is the variety of products it contains; everything from facial cleanser to lip gloss to deodorant! This variety allows the recipient to be exposed to the many companies out there that are changing the face (no pun intended) of the beauty industry. I have been receiving these boxes for a few months now and I could not be happier with the products I’ve received. Seeing that little bundle of joy (yes, I’m referring to the beauty box) in my mailbox each month puts a smile on my face! :)

♥One Love Organics dry shampoo- I have been on the hunt for a dry shampoo and was excited to learn that this one was going to be included in the box (sometimes there are sneak peeks). I tried this on post-workout hair and I felt like it definitely absorbed the oil and general grossness from my roots and scalp. It is a very light powder that absorbs quickly so it doesn’t look like you’re impersonating George Washington. It also has a light, refreshing fragrance to it.
♥Gleam by Melanie Mills- I received this lip-gloss in color “Uncontrollable.” The color in the tube looks darker than how it actually looks on the lips. It is a very pretty berry color that would look great on a variety of skin colors. It goes on smoothly and feels very hydrating. This color is versatile enough for day or night.
♥Glamnatural- this hydrating facial cream is comprised of various plant-based oils. My skin tends be on the normal side but can become slightly oily, especially in these warmer, heat wave ridden months. For me, this will be great in the cooler months when my skin needs the extra moisture. This cream is very hydrating and applies smoothly; you do not need a lot to get full coverage. Once applied, you can barely feel it because it sinks into the skin so well.
♥Harvey Prince Organics fragrance "Hello"-I normally do not wear perfumes because I tend to get headaches from strong smells but this one has a mild, clean characteristic. It is not too fruity, florally, musky, etc. It has the perfect balance to it. After wearing it for several hours, no headache was to be had! I will definitely be wearing it again.
